Alison is a free online learning resource founded in Galway, Ireland, in 2007. “The better we do, the more good we can do. “
Alison is free of charge. But it’s still a business – albeit a socially-focused one. A social enterprise making money through advertising, merchandise, and the sale of Certificates and Diplomas if you pass and choose to buy one.
Alison believe that through education, everyone has the power to change their lives, and ultimately the world, for the better. Innovation, technology and creative collaboration with knowledge experts worldwide are the foundations of Alison’s commitment to delivering universal access to education for free. Their services and products deliver freedom to learn and the tools to succeed – enabling employers, learners, publishers and employees to empower themselves and others.
Alison was founded by Alison CEO, Mike Feerick. Mike is a businessman, but one with a difference. He believes in social impact, and that you can build a financially successful business focused on meeting a huge global social need, making education and skills training more accessible for everyone. He invites anyone who believes that too, to support the Alison mission.

TES started out in print more than 100 years ago as The Times Educational Supplement
To support parents and guardians with structuring and delivering home learning for children, we’ve gathered a collection of teacher-created learning resources designed to engage both primary and secondary students and help them learn and study outside of their usual classroom environment.
All of these resources are completely free to download and use and include lessons, worksheets, workbooks and activities across a multitude of subject disciplines, ranging from EYFS to KS4 (GCSE). With these resources, you can be confident that students will remain engaged and challenged throughout this period of social distancing and isolation.
