Beauty Tips & Cheats Tried By You – Vapor Rub uses

Finish This Sentence:

The best beauty tip I ever got was …

Like me I’m sure you have read or are told beauty advice, tips and cheats from family/friends to a Facebook feed.  Having just put ‘beauty tips’ into Google search engine at top of screen it stated ‘About 2,550,000,000 results.’  Wow!

We all want that elixir of youth that costs £350 and the rest, from a laboratory that we’ve never heard of somewhere in France and then woke up smelling coffee and wondered, does it actually work?  Can I find a cheaper alternative?

I know there are beauty super hero’s out there that know stuff we beauty commoners don’t. I’m lighting up the sky with a spotlight (like Batman, hahaha), to all you peeps that will share the best tip you’ve ever been given, don’t hold back if there are tips you have tried and tested, warn us not to try in a million Sundays or they plainly just don’t work.

To start this off I give you a tip that actually worked for me

Fungal-Nail Top Tip!

… and so far has worked for a friend.  I wear nail varnish on my toes pretty much all summer as I wear flip flops and sandals.

After removing my nail varnish I noticed that one of my big toe nails had yellowed and got thicker.  I duly went to the chemist to discover that buying nail fungal treatment was no less than £19.99!!

I came away thinking there has to be an alternative, I'm skint.

I filed the thickness of my nail down and Googled ‘fungal nail infection treatments’, what a plethora of articles. I read an article for 15 uses of Vicks VapoRub from ‘Womens Health’ magazine from a previous edition, I had obviously overlooked at the time (not having a nail infection I guess).

Another great article regarding Vicks VapoRub is by Healthline.com, this article includes other common products and their uses, which you may also find interesting.

I noted there are many other beauty blogs/websites stating the same.

I will add that I used a shop own brand, as Vicks VapoRub was sold out at the time. This actually worked and was cheaper.  I believe as long as the active ingredients are the same in products there is no issue with a cheaper branded product.

Because everything matters.
